1. Data Collection & The Zero-Knowledge Promise
We designed RynChat to function without needing your personal data. We do not ask for, collect, or store your phone number, email address, physical location, or real name. Your identity on RynChat is a locally generated cryptographic key pair.
Because we do not have this data, we cannot lose it, sell it, or be compelled to hand it over to third parties.
2. End-to-End Encryption
Every message, file, photo, call, and Life Hub entry is end-to-end encrypted by default. This means the encryption happens on your device before data is transmitted over the internet, and decryption only happens on the recipient's device.
Our relay servers only see routing information (sealed blobs) necessary to deliver the message. We do not store plaintext messages. Once a message is delivered to all target devices, it is queued for immediate deletion from our routing nodes.
3. No Tracking or Analytics
We do not embed third-party advertising trackers, pixel tags, or invasive behavioral analytics software in our applications. We measure aggregate server load to ensure the network stays online, but we do not profile your usage habits.
4. User Data Rights (GDPR & DPDP)
RynChat is built in alignment with the strictest global data protection regulations, including the European GDPR and India's DPDP Act. You have full control over your data.
